Use Of The 100CM² Sample Cutter

  • Place the sample on the cutting board making sure that it is flat and smooth, do not stretch 100CM² Sample Cutter.
  • Place the cutter on the sample and release the safety catch, this is done by withdrawing the head of the catch, turning it through 90 degrees and locating the pin in the two recesses, this allows the blades to become operational.
  • Whilst holding the cutter with one hand, apply pressure to the handle and rotate through at least 90 degrees, it may be necessary to turn further for certain materials.
  • Re-lock the safety catch and remove the cutter.
  • For determination of weight per unit area, weigh the specimen to 0.01g or 0.0001 oz.
